BORNEO OPEN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY True Democratization of Non-Academic Adult Education through Global Connections

The university would support in the publication of the IAEWP Peace Progress Journals in collaboration with First World Peace Education Convention ( WOPEC 1) in Malaysia.

The IAEWP World Peace Progress Journal was first published by the National Chancellery of Japan in 1974 and was circulated to about 50 countries to peace educators and advocates. Over the last decade the publication went into hibernation due to non availability of financial resources.
Point Euro World Peace Academy, an affiliated company of the university has under taken the leadership role to publish the electronic and print version of this international magazine.
The Journal is targeted to be circulated to 192 countries under the UN Membership charter, embassies, universities, diplomats, NGOs including the heads of Government.
This Journal would be published through donations and sale of advertisement spaces in the magazine. There is no subscription and it is a free distribution to all interested individuals. Initially it would be published annually and as the financial competencies improve, the journals would then be published on a quarterly basis.
The Peace Progress Journal would house articles on “How Can We Make Peace Work in Today’s Turbulent Climate?” It would address the ageless issues and questions: Why are we here? Where are we going? What are the solutions to perpetual human problems? How can we learn to live together in peace? How can we live rewarding, fulfilling lives and related life transforming articles?
In short, it tells us how to make peace work; easily contains a lifetime's education, just waiting for us to search out its priceless gems and treasures. It's a source of spiritual and practical help that you cannot afford to be without. The Journal would be a “How to Live in Peace” publication that cuts across the board of all politics, culture, religion and philosophies.
The publisher welcomes diverse articles from authors around the world. Selection of the articles to be published rests solely at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
There would be no payment or honorarium provided to the contributors of articles.
Requirements for Articles submission.
1. Enclose the recent photograph of the author with the articles. 2. Avoid abbreviations. 3. Be consistent in ALL respects. 4. Polish entire manuscript very carefully. 5. Only E-mail submissions are accepted. 6. Length of articles should be a maximum of two pages ONLY. 7. Please save a copy of every manuscript you submit.
