Borneo Open International University is working toward the establishment of two separate boards. One executive board for the day-to-day business management and administration presided over by the Chairman and one supervisory board for control purposes and governance, presided over by the Chancellor.
Steve Rajan is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Borneo Open International University. He is the member of the World Advisory Board of International Association of Educators For World Peace- IAEWP ( NGO- UN ). He sits at the Russian Global Harmony Associations as its Vice President and Public Relations Director for Asia. He is also the IAEWP Representative to the United Nations- ECOSOC Asia and The Pacific as well as the IAEWP Vice President for Strategy and Development at the highest Executive Board of IAEWP ( NGO and Peace Messenger of the United Nations )
He is a pre-eminent thought leader of non academic adult education, integrated holistic medicines and peace movement. He had received extensive training in the USA since 1992 in the area of integrative psychology, holistic healing arts and mind navigational skills.
He is the founding secretary general of the Malaysian Integrated Holistic Medicines Association , the founding president of Malaysian IAEWP and the founder of the International Federation of Martial Arts Grandmasters for World Peace ( IF-MAG) and BOIU Peace Prize Academy.
He is the initiator and Chief Consultant of the 18th IAEWP World Peace Congress and the First International Martial Arts Festival held in Malaysia in 2008 that attracted delegates from 70 countries.
He holds the copyright to the WOPEC - World Peace Education Convention ; and is the publisher of IAEWP Peace Progress Journal which is circulated to 193 member states/countries of the United Nations. The IAEWP Peace Progress Journal is the official Peace Journal of the University.
He has been the IAEWP Director General of Malaysia since 2004.
He divides his time in South East Asia and the USA.
